New Do

So Chloee has been bugging me to cut her hair for the last few months, and I decided since she is turning five soon, she needed a big girl haircut to match her big girl attitude. We took her to the beauty parlor and she had so much fun sitting in the big haircut chair and looking at all her hair fall to the floor. The hairdresser did a great job, and Chloee made sure she got the perfect style before we left.  We did a mini photo shoot a few days later, and she did her thing for the camera. Sadly, Chloee is an aspiring beautician because she has now cut her own hair 3 times! Yes, I say sadly, because last night, Chloee modified her do and trimmed her perfectly cut bangs. They are MUCH shorter now...to be shown later when I get the nerve to take some pictures. I really need to lock up all the scissors.

Growing pains

So our little Chloee Rose has done a lot of growing up lately. After watching the older kids play hockey, basketball, soccer, etc., Chloee finally got to be in a sport all of her own. She recently finished Smart Start Soccer and really enjoyed it. She has learned how to trap, dribble, pass and kick the ball. We just need to work on steal ling the ball now. She was fun to watch as she tends to stick her tongue out when she is concentrating. She also plays with her hair as a nervous habit, so between the tongue licking and hair twirling, she put on quite a show.

Chloee also recently had her first big girl haircut (not counting the one she gave herself a few months back). We chopped quite a bit off and she sure looks cute. Mom loves it because it's so much easier to style now. While she was in the beautician's chair, we discussed getting her ears pierced, and to our surprise, she was all for it. She looks adorable with her earrings, but the pictures speak a thousand words about how she felt. After two helpings of candy though, she was good as new.

Our Chloee may be four now, but she definitely tries to run the house. She sure is my helper though, always willing to bring me a diaper, feed the dog, or boss ( I mean) remind her brothers what they need to do. What a kid.
