Easter weekend

What a weekend! We took the kids up to Eagle River this weekend for Brady's state tournament and Easter with the family. The hockey was good, we ended up with third place, but Brady did very well in net. Aaron even played in a men's 3 on 3 tournament and while they didn't do so hot, he had a great time playing with some of his old high school buddies. He still has the moves on the ice :) The highlight for the kids was to see their Swanson cousins again. After 6 months in Germany, Addie, Sydney, and Mac came home for the summer break. Grandma Lynn had an Easter egg hunt at her house with about 80 eggs hidden in the backyard. All the kids got a haul of eggs with candy and pennies in them. So fun. The low point of the weekend was when Auntie Bobbi hurt her knee playing in a volleyball tournament. Hope you start feeling better and it's not too serious.

We finished the weekend with brunch at the Senior Center with the grandparents (no our parents aren't residents of the Senior Center), but the brunch was good. Jaron even won this lovely hat as a door prize. It is always nice to see the family on our weekend trips. Happy Easter everyone.
